Parasocial explores the mind of Millie: a passionate young girl in her bedroom as she fixates on an internet celebrity, Danielle: a beautiful, wealthy young woman who makes YouTube content surrounding her lifestyle and personality. Throughout Millie’s story, we discover the psychological changes in her as an individual that reveal the dangers of influencer culture and expose how detrimental parasocial relationships can be.
